The Narasipur Group’s capabilities have been proven by the test of time. The Group has evolved from being a machining provider to a true solutions provider with integrated engineering+design, forging and machining capabilities.
Here are the highlights from the group’s history:
The Group’s first company Krishna Auto Industries was started at Hyderabad by Mr. N.V. Ashwathnarayana who was previously in senior management at HMT Limited. With an MTech from IIT Powai, Mr. Ashwathnarayana has built a reputation as a Design and Process Expert in the engineering industry.
Narasipur Precision Private Limited (NPPL) established in Hyderabad (Cherlapally) to cater to the machining requirements of transmission components of Mahindra and Mahindra.
Narasipur Auto Components Private Limited (NACPL) established in Bangalore (Bilekahalli) to cater to the requirements of TVS Motors (Hosur and Nanjangud) and Gabriel (Hosur).
Deepak Narasipur joins the group as Director. He brings 14 years of technical, design and leadership experience in the computer software industry in the US with him. Narasipur Auto Components Private Limited (NACPL) established and moves to own premises in Bommasandra Industrial Area in South Bangalore.
NPPL Pune is established. This greenfield plant is more proximal to M&M and to cater to other OEMs and industries in the Mumbai-Pune area.
NACPL Harohalli goes to production. This integrated facility offers world-class forging and machining facilities, including metallurgy laboratory, giving our customers the advantage of backward integration.
Narasipur Group unveils Engineering & Design Services, making the group a true end-to-end solution provider and partner to OEM customers.

The Founder and his Vision
The Narasipur Group was established in the year 1989 by Mr. N.V. Aswathnarayana. A talented Mechanical Engineer with a BE from BMS College of Engineering in Bangalore and M.Tech from IIT Powai (Mumbai), Mr. Aswathnarayana rose quickly up the ranks of public sector giant HMT Limited at Hyderabad. He was General Manager at Hyderabad when he quit the company and embarked on his dream of entrepreneurship.
“MD Sir” as our Founder is known throughout the group, is known for his emphasis on engineering excellence and high business ethics. These values have formed the bedrock upon which the group companies have grown and which helped the company to earn the trust of its suppliers and customers.

Carrying the Legacy Forward
Since joining the group in 2005, our Director Deepak Narsipur has focused on standardisation of systems and processes and on expansion into new areas. He has been instrumental in setting up the Greenfield plants at Chakan (Pune) and Harohalli (Bangalore). He has also driven group-wide implementation of SAP for finance, inventory and supply chain management.
Deepak has an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the Klipsch School of Engineering at New Mexico State State Univ., Las Cruces, NM; and a B.E in Electronics from Bangalore University.

Carrying the Legacy Forward
Padmaja helps with strategic direction for the Group. She previously worked with Intel Corp., in Santa Clara, CA. She currently heads one of the Narasipur Group companies, Clearly Blue Digital, a Content/Design Studio. She has an MS in Computer Science from New Mexico State University (Las Cruces, NM, USA) and an MS in Physics from Bangalore University.
